About the role
- Responsible for development and support of QA processes, practices and tools necessary to produce quality products/services and to manage risk
- Researches and recommends hardware and software purchases for software quality assurance program
- Selects and implements formal QA methodologies
- Architects and implements Agile testing practices and tools
- Evaluates, recommends and implements enterprise-wide defect-tracking software
- Assists in planning and estimation of Quality Assurance support for new programs and projects
- Conducts audits and reviews
- Supports Quality Assurance specialists on programs or projects
- Conducts program reviews and complex process audits
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry-relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (or an equivalent combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience)
- Specific certifications are often required
- Knowledge of QA methodologies and testing practices
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Pydat, Parasoft
- Ability to lead automation strategy and coordinate across product teams
- Familiarity with enterprise defect-tracking software
- Strong communication skills and ability to present to senior leadership
