About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Designs solution roadmaps, according to business strategies and processes in solution architecture, through client requirement analysis, cross-team collaboration and problem resolution.
- Designs solution roadmaps, and system and software architecture according to business strategies and solution architecture standards/processes.
- Analyzes client requirements and determines appropriate solutions to these requirements based on business needs.
- Resolves routine to moderately complex problems and issues in solution architecture; assesses any potential risks and determines solutions to these risks.
- Works with other solution architecture staff, technology experts and business stakeholders to provide functional support to clients on solution architecture updates.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of AML/bank secrecy regulatory requirements and audit expectations.
- Experience implementing or supporting AML platforms (e.g., Oracle FCCM, Actimize or equivalent).
- Proven experience designing large-scale data processing architectures (batch-heavy environments).
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including compliance, fraud, and data engineering.
- Strong expertise in data ingestion architectures (batch pipelines, ETL frameworks, scheduling tools such as CA7).
- Experience with ETL platforms (e.g., Informatica) and modern data frameworks (e.g., Spark, distributed processing).
- Understanding of AML transaction monitoring, alert generation, case management, and SAR workflows.
- Familiarity with model integration patterns (ML/analytics pipelines).
- Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures (preferred future-state capability).
- Experience with observability, logging, and data lineage tracking.
- Familiarity with different types of UML diagrams.
- Familiarity with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN).
