About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify and establish ways of stabilizing environments and sites
  • Assess opportunities to drive engineering stability through analytics and metrics
  • Responsible for site design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning
  • Define, create, and ensure robust dashboards and monitoring systems are implemented
  • Identify, coordinate, and implement SLAs and SLOs for applications, service sites, and platforms
  • Lead in analyzing metrics from operating sites and applications
  • Troubleshoot priority incidents and participate in blameless post-mortems
  • Engage in testing strategy approaches, complex incident response, and root cause analysis efforts
  • Mentor and train junior team members on best practices for infrastructure management and disaster recovery

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Familiarity with application development, business management, customer solutions, design, group problem solving, process improvements, release management, software solutions, user experience (UX) design
  • Skills in analytical thinking, application design, architecture, application maintenance, application testing, IT industry trends & directions, IT standards, procedures & policies, software process improvement (SPI), software reliability management, system testing, technical troubleshooting
