Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions
Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs
Prepares technical and procedural documentation required

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of industry-relevant experience
Bachelor's degree
Java (web and core)
SQL (Oracle)
Linux (core and scripting)
Ability/Desire to gain knowledge of Capital Markets and Derivatives products
Ability to effectively communicate with the Business on issues and improvements
Experience with 3rd party trading systems – Murex, Calypso, etc.
Knowledge of derivatives product asset classes: Rates, Foreign Exchange, Commodities (Energy), Credit
Knowledge of derivative sensitivity measures: Delta, Vega, Gamma, DV01, Theta, VaR, etc.
Experience with Front Office (Trading, Sales/Marketing) and Back Office / Operations (Trade Reporting, Settlements, Accounting, Finance, Collateral Mgmt) and Risk Management (Market, Credit, Legal Compliance)
