About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the Product Owner for assigned enterprise backend platforms, ensuring alignment to business objectives, technical strategy, and operational priorities
- Own product prioritization decisions, balancing near-term operational needs, risk reduction, and long-term platform strategy
- Develop and maintain annual product roadmaps and lead quarterly planning activities
- Identify and manage dependencies and sequencing across multiple products and workstreams
- Maintain end-to-end ownership of the product backlog, including backlog buildout, grooming, refinement, and prioritization
- Translate complex technical, operational, and compliance requirements into clear, actionable user stories
- Perform significant administrative and documentation activities, including requirements documentation, process flows, and platform artifacts
- Partner closely with Scrum Masters and Engineering teams to support sprint planning, execution, and delivery
- Demonstrate working knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or Site Reliability Center operating models
- Partner with engineering and operations teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for availability, reliability, performance, and observability
- Engage with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements, align priorities, and manage expectations
- Support vendor relationship management, including participation in vendor evaluations, roadmap discussions, and contract conversations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience functioning as a Product Owner in an Agile environment
- Strong Business Analyst skill set with demonstrated requirements gathering and documentation experience
- Experience owning prioritization, product roadmaps, and planning cycles
- Technical aptitude with backend, platform, or enterprise systems
- Experience supporting multiple products or concurrent workstreams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks
