About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain policy-as-code solutions that enable automated governance and compliance.
- Build and enhance applications using JavaScript and modern frameworks (preferably Vue, with Angular or React as alternatives).
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices to support policy enforcement and automation workflows.
- Collaborate with DevSecOps and pipeline engineering teams to embed policies into CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with containerized and cloud-native environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Apply UI/UX design principles to deliver intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and code reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical best practices and standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred
- 3–5+ years of experience in software development, DevSecOps, or compliance engineering preferred
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, particularly Agile.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitHub and Jenkins.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (Vue preferred; Angular or React acceptable).
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with microservices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
