About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide senior analytical leadership to optimize the bank’s centralized marketing decisioning engine and drive customer and business outcomes.
- Focus on improving the quality, performance, and stability of self learning models by developing analyses and business cases while partnering closely with data science teams and key business stakeholders.
- Shape and govern decision inputs, including algorithm refinement, value frameworks, propensity models, constraints, and business rules, while incorporating enterprise and channel context and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Serve as mentor to more junior employees.
- Consult with clients and mentor consultants on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development.
- Determine the optimal analytic approach and support development, implementation and enhancements.
- Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing, customer, or decision analytics (preferably in financial services), with demonstrated career growth, strong results orientation, and increasing ownership of complex analytical problems – Pegasystems CDH experience is advantageous.
- Success in this role requires strong leadership and communication skills, effective cross functional collaboration, and the ability to translate model driven decisions into clear business and customer impact.
- Experience in coding languages Python & SQL, strong understanding of modeling and model development.
- Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
