About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides financial and regulatory reporting and analyses to maintain adequate controls over the financial and regulatory reporting processes
- Responsible for running complex business performance, risk and operational analytics
- Develops analytical methods/models to assess market, credit and/or operational risk of new and existing financial products
- Analyzes large datasets to improve risk adjusted returns, deliver profitable growth, and communicate conclusions
- Synthesizes analytical results to develop strategies that improve lending decisions and manage risk
- Applies predictive models and other tools to develop and execute appropriate segmentation and targeting for acquisition
- Works with business, credit, data, and model development partners to design and monitor test designs and analytical reporting
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of industry-relevant experience
- Direct prior experience with or contribution to credit card or debit card authorization strategies, modeling/analysis or monitoring required
- Prior experience at a large card issuer preferred
- Spark/Python, Data Science and Analytics, Optimization Frameworks, Graph/Linkage Analysis, Data Correlation and Visualization
- Analytical Thinking, Credit Risks, Data Analysis, Data Analytics, Financial Analysis, Model Development, Operational Risks, Python (Programming Language), Quantitative Models, Risk Appetite, Statistics, Structured Query Language (SQL)
