About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provides financial and regulatory reporting and analyses to maintain adequate controls over the financial and regulatory reporting processes
Responsible for running complex business performance, risk and operational analytics
Develops analytical methods/models to assess market, credit and/or operational risk of new and existing financial products
Analyzes large datasets to improve risk adjusted returns, deliver profitable growth, and communicate conclusions
Synthesizes analytical results to develop strategies that improve lending decisions and manage risk
Applies predictive models and other tools to develop and execute appropriate segmentation and targeting for acquisition
Works with business, credit, data, and model development partners to design and monitor test designs and analytical reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of industry-relevant experience
Direct prior experience with or contribution to credit card or debit card authorization strategies, modeling/analysis or monitoring required
Prior experience at a large card issuer preferred
Spark/Python, Data Science and Analytics, Optimization Frameworks, Graph/Linkage Analysis, Data Correlation and Visualization
Analytical Thinking, Credit Risks, Data Analysis, Data Analytics, Financial Analysis, Model Development, Operational Risks, Python (Programming Language), Quantitative Models, Risk Appetite, Statistics, Structured Query Language (SQL)
