About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides financial and regulatory reporting and analyses to maintain adequate controls over the financial and regulatory reporting processes
  • Responsible for running complex business performance, risk and operational analytics
  • Develops analytical methods/models to assess market, credit and/or operational risk of new and existing financial products
  • Analyzes large datasets to improve risk adjusted returns, deliver profitable growth, and communicate conclusions
  • Synthesizes analytical results to develop strategies that improve lending decisions and manage risk
  • Applies predictive models and other tools to develop and execute appropriate segmentation and targeting for acquisition
  • Works with business, credit, data, and model development partners to design and monitor test designs and analytical reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of industry-relevant experience
  • Direct prior experience with or contribution to credit card or debit card authorization strategies, modeling/analysis or monitoring required
  • Prior experience at a large card issuer preferred
  • Spark/Python, Data Science and Analytics, Optimization Frameworks, Graph/Linkage Analysis, Data Correlation and Visualization
  • Analytical Thinking, Credit Risks, Data Analysis, Data Analytics, Financial Analysis, Model Development, Operational Risks, Python (Programming Language), Quantitative Models, Risk Appetite, Statistics, Structured Query Language (SQL)
