About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts to ensure application quality and reliability
  • Perform API testing to validate data integrity, performance, and system integrations
  • Write and maintain Java ‑ based test code supporting automated functional and regression testing
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other QA team members within Agile/Scrum teams
  • Execute test plans, analyze results, identify defects, and track issues through resolution
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and testing strategies

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
  • Strong experience with automation testing, including building and maintaining automated test suites
  • Hands ‑ on experience with Java coding for testing purposes
  • Proven experience with API testing (RESTful services, validations, and integrations)
  • Familiarity working within Agile development environments
  • Strong analytical and problem ‑ solving skills with attention to detail
  • Experience with manual testing techniques to complement automation efforts
  • Exposure to enterprise ‑ scale or financial services technology environments
  • Experience with test management or defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
