About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

oversee the financial management and performance of multifamily and commercial real estate investment funds
responsible for fund-level accounting, financial modeling, and cash flow execution
manage fund financial models
coordinate and review tax returns
administer capital calls and distributions
monitor fund performance against projected yields
ensure that investor commitments, distributions, and return expectations are met
evaluate and report upon data consistent to fund performance
lead fund closings and fund modifications that would affect fund metrics
perform internal and external reporting on fund performance
develop and maintain the upper tier model to ensure assumptions are consistent with internal and investor requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of industry relevant experience
strong accounting and financial modeling foundation
experience in complex fund structures and real estate investments
backgrounds from CPA firms or similar environments
experience in fund accounting, investor reporting, and financial analysis within real assets or private equity
university / college degree, ideally higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable
specific certifications often required
