About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Establish and operationalize QE strategy, standards, and governance
Lead high-performing QE teams, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development
Drive test automation as the default approach across UI, API, integration, and regression test layers
Remain hands-on with automation design, framework decisions, and complex testing scenarios using tools such as Selenium and API automation frameworks
Introduce and scale AI-driven test automation and intelligent testing solutions
Integrate QE practices into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows for continuous testing and fast feedback
Define and track quality metrics, KPIs, and risk indicators to improve product quality and release confidence
Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to ensure early test involvement, testability, and shift-left strategies
Ensure compliance with SDLC, regulatory, audit, and risk requirements where applicable

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience establishing QE practices and automation frameworks from the ground up
Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools, like Selenium (Java), Playwright, API automation, Test framework design and maintenance
Solid understanding of modern application architectures, including Microservices, APIs, Event-driven systems
Ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across Engineering, Product, and Architecture organizations
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience implementing or scaling AI-based or intelligent test automation tools (self-healing automation, test prioritization, analytics-driven testing)
Exposure to CI/CD tools and DevOps practices integrating automated testing
Experience with cloud-native and containerized environments
Knowledge of performance, resilience, and non-functional testing
Experience operating within regulated or audit-heavy environments
Background in Agile / SAFe delivery models and large-scale enterprise programs
