About the role

  • Makes business decisions regarding new business that includes closely-held (non-publicly traded) assets and evaluates ability to accept these assets.
  • Involved in more complex sales of assets and related legal issues.
  • Monitors, coordinates, interprets and processes financial and non-financial information on a monthly basis relating to closely-held (non-publicly traded) assets held within Investment Management and Trust accounts.
  • May provide guidance to other team members.
  • Works with the sales and fiduciary teams who are proposing new business that includes a closely-held asset.
  • Evaluates ability to accept the asset and helps determine the best plan of administration.
  • Coordinates and operates committee presentations with advisors and other committee chairs responsible for the oversight of special asset acceptance, administration or disposition reviews.
  • Works with various internal partners to help support the acquisition, accurate reporting and sale of assigned closely-held assets and is often the lead for these relationships.
  • Coordinates and conducts fiduciary reviews of assigned closely-held business assets, including more complex assets or relationships, held within wealth accounts and makes investment/fiduciary recommendations related to the asset for presentation at the monthly committee meeting.
  • Provides compliance-based reporting for assets that have been flagged as exceptions as well as oversees, coordinates and performs compliance reviews for assets accepted.

  • 5+ years of industry-relevant experience
