About the role
- Set relationship strategies and direct relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients in a book of business to grow sales, revenue and market share
- Work independently while mentoring other team members
- Create and drive strategy to acquire and/or expand and retain client relationships to generate revenue
- Originate, financial analysis, negotiation and documentation of credit and non-credit products and services
- Manage risk/return and drive quality for new and/or existing clients
- Actively identify and mitigate different types of risk, such as regulatory, reputational, operational and credit risks
- Focus on client opportunities by providing ideas and insights based on understanding of client's needs and their financial well-being
- Drive client engagement and loyalty
- Generate ideas and best practices within Relationship Management and mentor others
- Manage effective network of senior internal and external relationships to acquire new clients and/or expand existing clients
Requirements
- 8+ years of industry experience
- Formal credit training
- Middle market experience (clients with revenue 50mm+)
