About the role
- Focus on PNC's Big Data transformation within the Asset Management Group
- Emphasis on data quality assurance, validation, and testing of data pipelines and analytical assets
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business users to define data quality checks, metrics, and SLAs
- Develop, maintain, and execute data quality tests and validation rules
- Create QA frameworks that support batch data validation
- Troubleshoot data issues, identify root causes, and drive resolution in collaboration with engineering teams
- Document test cases and test results to provide visibility into data health and quality trends
Requirements
- Proven experience in data quality engineering
- Experience with Big Data technologies
- Familiarity with automated data validation tools such as Great Expectations
- Working knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, and data analytics platforms
- Ability to collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business users
- Strong analytical skills
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience
- Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience
