About the role
- develop cross-functional, multi-platform machine learning software systems
- design, build and maintain technology solutions
- create machine learning algorithms
- apply higher level math to build new models and validate existing models
- inform decisions and recommendations to line of business partners
- perform application programming activities including coding, testing, debugging, documenting, maintaining, and modifying machine learning systems
- engage in data modeling to identify the underlying structure of a dataset and finds patterns or properties for machine learning improvement recommendations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
- strong background in application development, solution design, process improvement, and User Experience (UX) design
- experience in Python, JavaScript, React, and Django or similar Python-based application support
- solid foundation in machine learning
- knowledge of probability and statistics for creating machine learning algorithms
- knowledge of Machine Learning industry and best practices
- knowledge of data modeling
- ability to assess and manage risks associated with business objectives and activities.
- accepted certifications may include job-specific certifications or a comparable combination of education and experience including military service.
