About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform or assist with equipment finance activities under supervision
- Identify and mitigate regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks
- Help ensure quality for new and existing clients
- Assist with preparation of offerings and scorecards
- Assist in origination, financial analysis, negotiation, and documentation of equipment finance products and services
- Interact with internal and external clients to gather or clarify information and develop client relationships
- Articulate recommendations to customers regarding servicing and product inquiries
- Analyze, evaluate, and mitigate credit risk using credit fundamentals and internal credit policies
- Participate in social learning, mentoring, job shadowing, community outreach, and formal learning
- Network with business representatives and peers to develop credit, product, and sales skills
Requirements
What you’ll need- University/college degree typically required, or comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of credit fundamentals and internal credit policies
- Ability to analyze, evaluate, and mitigate credit risk
- Skills in financial analysis, credit processes, and credit products
- Client relationship-building and customer engagement skills
- Decision-making and critical-thinking skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- No employment visa sponsorship or STEM OPT
- No required certifications or licenses
