About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support marketing and execution of interest rate hedging solutions for PNC’s corporate and institutional clients
- Provide day-to-day support and backup across the derivatives desk
- Generate trade ideas and prepare marketing materials and pitch books
- Write market commentaries and conduct swap portfolio analytics and peer analyses
- Provide indicative pricing tailored to clients’ risk management needs
- Manage client onboarding, including credit lines, ISDA documentation, and trade confirmations
- Coordinate required internal approvals with credit, legal, settlements, and other service partners
- Partner with Trading, Corporate Banking, Debt Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, Foreign Exchange, and Treasury Management
- Support business development initiatives and client relationship management
- Support execution of capital markets transactions and prepare financial analyses, research, reports, and supporting documents
- Coordinate due diligence, document processing, and industry/company analysis
- Monitor and develop industry, client, product, market, and regulatory knowledge
- Contribute to a risk-mitigating, compliance-driven culture
Requirements
What you’ll need- Derivatives, Fixed Income, Securities Sales, or Capital Markets experience
- Direct experience marketing and/or executing interest rate derivative products, including swaps, swaptions, caps, floors, cross-currency swaps, and Treasury locks, for corporate clients
- Solid understanding of derivatives markets and fixed income derivative product pricing
- Familiarity with ISDA documentation and terms
- Familiarity with credit risk concepts, including CVA, DVA, and FVA
- Strong interest in global macro markets and market developments
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and perform effectively under pressure
- Demonstrated commitment to collaboration and achieving team goals
- University/college degree and 2+ years of relevant professional experience; comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Required licenses vary by business area and may include SIE, Series 7, Series 52, Series 63, and Series 79 within specified periods after employment
- No required or preferred language assessments
- Must not require employment visa sponsorship; PNC will not participate in STEM OPT
