About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Consult on investment and insurance strategies and develop financial plans for clients
- Grow and retain an investment and insurance book of business
- Own the client experience, handling sales and service efficiently
- Identify sales opportunities, execute opportunities, and make referrals to internal business partners
- Acquire, expand, and maintain client relationships through branch business development and outbound calling
- Grow client loyalty and share of wallet through an exceptional client experience
- Apply product and procedural knowledge to solve client problems appropriately and efficiently
- Develop and implement investment and insurance strategies
- Determine suitable products and present financial recommendations and guidance
- Establish and monitor individual financial plans and recommend changes as needed
- Coach and educate branch staff and internal business partners to identify investment opportunities
- Drive investment education and visibility among branch staff
- Lead branch-team actions to achieve investment results in partnership with the branch manager and/or investment sales associate
- Communicate with internal and external partners to build relationships and drive referral activity
- Meet regularly with the branch manager and internal business partners to review business results and pipeline management
- Meet service-level agreements for lead and referral follow-up
- Manage customer experience, retention, prospecting, sales activities, and multiple priorities
- Assess and manage risks in accordance with PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate degree / university or college degree typically required at this level
- Less than 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program
- Comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
- FINRA Series 7 and 66, or Series 7 and 63/65, required
- Life and Health Insurance license required
- No required or preferred language assessments
- Must comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines
- Position subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and, for registered roles, SAFE Act and/or FINRA requirements regarding certain criminal history
- PNC will not provide employment visa sponsorship or participate in STEM OPT for this position
