About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a portfolio of complex energy and mineral assets
- Ensure compliance with fiduciary obligations, governing documents, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Administer oil and gas leases, division orders, leases, and other asset development opportunities
- Conduct title review and search, ownership verification, contract interpretation, probate-related analysis, and resolution of title defects or revenue issues
- Monitor and analyze asset performance, royalty and working-interest revenues, joint interest billings, reserve reports, valuations, taxes, and operator activity
- Review annual reviews and investment recommendations
- Create client reports and presentations
- Oversee assigned trust-owned real estate assets, including residential, rental, commercial, farmland, timber, oil, gas, and mineral interests
- Identify, mitigate, and escalate risk while acquiring, preserving, and managing properties
- Manage real estate purchases, sales, leases, negotiations, property management, safekeeping, disposition/productivity analysis, bill payments, tax and insurance enforcement, and hiring contractors and agents
- Collaborate with AMG Fiduciary Counsel, Market Fiduciary Advisors, and Managers
- Assess risk and recommend accepting, retaining, or selling assets
- Present recommendations to the Real Estate Trust Investment Committee and/or Special Assets Committee
- Preserve and manage physical properties, coordinate maintenance professionals, and ensure properties are inspected, valued, and insured
- Ensure taxes, insurance premiums, and property-related expenses are paid timely
- Guide property purchases and sales, assess capital improvements and transaction risk, and coordinate ownership transfers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in oil and gas, mineral management, land administration, fiduciary asset management, and trust services
- Strong knowledge of oil and gas leases, title matters, mineral and working interests, fiduciary principles, and financial analysis
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry platforms such as Enverus/DrillingInfo, MineralSoft, or similar systems
- RPL (Registered Professional Landman), CPL (Certified Professional Landman), RL (Registered Landman), JD, or comparable professional designation highly preferred
- 5+ years of industry-relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree or comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Must be able to work in an in-office environment
- PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position
