About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead strategic execution of market development, growth, and operations for the PNC Private Bank Client Service organization within the region
- Oversee service excellence and consistent exceptional client experiences across the region
- Develop, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards
- Collaborate with leadership to develop client service and advisor support functions
- Lead acquisition, career development, performance expectations, coaching, and accountability for regional service professionals
- Coach and mentor market service directors and managers to achieve regional goals and client experience results
- Create and measure daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly key performance indicators
- Manage the organization toward PNC Private Bank and Client Service & Middle Office goals, strategic plan, and mission
- Develop and execute strategies supporting regional business development and financial priorities
- Identify cost reductions, efficiency improvements, and revenue enhancements; build strategic cases for buy-in
- Make sound decisions using critical thinking and independent judgment; escalate issues when needed
- Maintain awareness of PNC Private Bank products, services, and internal partner organizations
- Balance daily service excellence, project/process enhancements, and change initiatives
- Champion mobility, diversity and inclusion, training, and compliance initiatives
- Direct and manage sales, service, and execution support for new and ongoing client relationships
- Monitor support activities, recommend and implement improvements, and connect strategy to business outcomes
- Provide performance reports to leadership
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures; manage client exceptions and highest-level escalations
- Manage relationships with internal and external service partners
- Oversee development of the client solutions team, including supervisors and individual contributors
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree
- Typically 8+ years of industry experience
- At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required
- Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Strong leadership and management capabilities
- Outstanding communication skills to all levels of the organization
- Strategic business planning ability and change-agent capability
- Strong follow-through and ability to document and implement resolution actions
- Ability to manage complex issues and implement and manage a successful risk/control environment
- Execution-focused approach with ability to overcome obstacles and minimize bureaucracy
- Knowledge of customer relationship management applications, customer support policies, standards and procedures, decision making and critical thinking, problem management process, process management, sales support and administration
- Must not require employment visa sponsorship; PNC will not provide sponsorship or participate in STEM OPT
