About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze business requirements and production specifications for changes to technology applications
- Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs and business processes
- Lead analysis, design, and implementation of complex business systems
- Translate business needs into technical requirements within an iterative development process
- Direct business process improvement projects for internal business groups
- Identify and document system constraints, implications, and consequences of proposed system changes
- Provide recommendations for addressing and resolving business issues
- Gather and analyze requirements
- Create documentation
- Perform quality assurance and manual testing
- Manage stakeholders
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and cross-functional teams

Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience as a Business Systems Analyst with proven ability to lead complex projects
- Strong understanding of business processes and ability to translate them into technical requirements
- Expertise in system analysis methodologies, including data modeling, process mapping, and requirements gathering
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Manual testing experience
- Hands-on experience supporting API integrations, including request/response structures, parameter fields, POST operations, and error responses
- Ability to translate business requirements into API specifications and validate data mappings
- Understanding of Agile principles
- Experience with user story creation and backlog management
- Functional requirements gathering
- Data analysis experience
- SQL and MySQL
- Gap analysis
- UI/API/DB knowledge and understanding of how components interrelate
- Jira

- 2+ years of relevant professional experience
- University/college degree typically required; comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
