  • Review and investigate customer cases, reports, and work for potential and actual loss
  • Minimize fraud, Anti-Money Laundering, and organizational risk
  • Perform early detection of suspicious activity
  • Control and prevent losses
  • Lead and/or train detection and investigation staff
  • Research and analyze bank activities and reports to detect and prevent possible fraudulent and suspicious activities
  • Recommend disposition
  • Identify gaps and control enhancements
  • Use defined research procedures to identify and resolve issues
  • Identify trends and escalate as appropriate
  • Follow standards and practices to mitigate fraud, Anti-Money Laundering, and other risk exposure and loss
  • Share best practices among the team and/or service partners
  • Prepare and maintain documentation of analysis performed
  • Coordinate with internal or external stakeholders as appropriate
  • Perform complex investigations and analysis
  • Conduct in-depth fraud investigations end-to-end
  • Create, maintain, and update formal case records
  • File security incident reports and complaints when required
  • Apply authentication and KYC procedures
  • Handle inbound calls involving higher-risk scenarios
  • Work advanced alert queues when volume allows
  • Balance phone, alert, and case work independently

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University / college degree with less than 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered
