About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with technical-control owners to test and evaluate Cortex Cloud capabilities and reduce tool sprawl
- Enable partners with access to lower environments for testing and analysis
- Build vendor relationships and ensure appropriate vendor response and support
- Engage Enterprise Architecture and obtain approvals for new cloud-security capabilities
- Own vendor relationships with Azure, AWS, and Palo Alto
- Champion issues with vendors and hold them accountable for resolving problems and bugs
- Plan and lead Quarterly Business Reviews
- Serve as RCSA Control Owner for Cloud Security TEC083
- Provide recurring attestation evidence for cloud-security controls
- Review and analyze TEC083, identify control gaps, and determine when controls are no longer applicable or belong in another RAU
- Work with the Cloud Security team to automate attestation evidence
- Develop Microsoft Power BI cloud-security dashboard views for Azure and AWS configuration violations
- Provide senior leaders, stakeholders, and lines of business with accurate and timely information
- Report dashboard-usage statistics
- Gather customer requirements and build the Cloud Security Roadmap backlog
- Apply security concepts and technical expertise to design, build, maintain, configure, and implement technology solutions
- Translate architectural designs into implementation, sizing, integration, onboarding, and operationalization details
- Evaluate patches, updates, maintenance, and impacts of new standards
- Use change-control and governance processes
- Produce implementation, configuration, design, and engineering documentation
- Work with operational partners to transition solutions and support day-to-day operations
- Provide production engineering support and collaborate with other groups
Requirements
What you’ll need- University/college degree, typically a bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of industry-relevant experience
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered
- Knowledge of CNAPP, security controls, and dashboard development
- Preferable working knowledge of at least one CNAPP: AWS, Azure, or Palo Alto
- Ability to work with ambiguity
- Strong relationship-building and maintenance skills
- Ability to understand customer needs
- Ability to influence partners to adopt CNAPP capabilities
- Knowledge of access control, information security, network security, risk assessments, and security technologies
- Analytical thinking, effective communications, information security management, information security technologies, IT environment, IT standards/procedures/policies, IT systems management, network and internet security, problem solving, and technical troubleshooting

- Must work from a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace if remote work is approved
