About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage relationships with new and existing clients in a book of business
- Grow sales, revenue, and market share against relevant sales goals
- Acquire, expand, and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet
- Originate, financially analyze, negotiate, and document credit and non-credit products and services
- Manage risk/return and mitigate regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks
- Provide ideas and insights based on client needs and financial well-being
- Increase client engagement and loyalty
- Build internal and external networks, including community and industry relationships
- Acquire new clients and expand existing relationships
- Present PNC's full range of products and services
- Use reporting and sales tools to identify and convert sales opportunities
- Work with internal service partners to onboard and expand the business portfolio
- Serve businesses with annual sales from $2 million to $10 million across targeted segments including Retail, Agricultural, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Professional Services, Wholesale, and Women in Business
Requirements
What you’ll need- University/college degree typically required; Bachelor's education listed
- 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience
- Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Knowledge of business banking and cash flow solutions
- Business acumen and client relationship management
- Financial analysis and credit fundamentals
- Knowledge of credit processes, credit products, and internal credit policies
- Ability to analyze, evaluate, and mitigate credit risk
- Ability to identify sales opportunities and manage a book of business
- Customer engagement and experience management skills
- Prospecting and selling skills
- Decision-making, critical thinking, and effective communication skills
- Tech savvy
- Must not require employment visa sponsorship; PNC will not participate in STEM OPT
- Subject to Section 19 of the FDIA and, for registered roles, SAFE Act and/or FINRA requirements regarding certain criminal history
