About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Market credit card systems and support services for business customers
  • Attract and retain client relationships to meet sales objectives
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Identify client requirements and recommend appropriate services
  • Respond to customer inquiries about internal products, services, and credit card processing activities
  • Manage, collect, and report sales statistics
  • Interface with sales channels to facilitate prompt referral of leads beyond the target market
  • Prospect and partner with Business Banking Relationship Managers and Treasury Management Officers
  • Identify payment-solutions opportunities for businesses with more than $2MM in annual revenue
  • Travel regularly throughout the Akron/Canton/Youngstown territory
  • Support customer-focused and enterprise risk-management practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University / college degree typically required at this level, or comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience in lieu of a degree
  • Associates education listed
  • Experience in Merchant Services/Payment Processing sales preferred
  • Preferred skills: Business Banking, Client Relationship Building, Competitive Strategies, Customer Inquiries, Merchant Services, Negotiation, Operations Management, Sales, Sales Operations, Sales Prospecting
  • Competencies: Business Acumen, Client Relationship Management, Customer Experience Management, Decision Making and Critical Thinking, Effective Communications, Prospecting, Selling, Tech Savvy
  • Spanish speaking preferred
