About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build relationships and partner with third-party vendors/dealers to support business growth
- Provide exceptional customer service and proactive communication among sales, vendors, customers, and internal departments
- Understand financing requests and ensure documentation packages meet credit approval and Program Summary Matrix requirements
- Adhere to Operations Policies and Procedures, including collateral evaluation, lien perfection, insurance, and appropriate countersignatures
- Draft amendments for approved deal changes for legal review
- Review PPSA searches to identify blanket lien filings
- Ensure contracts are appropriately priced and pricing exceptions are approved and documented
- Price deals using TValue
- Train new Sales Support employees, third-party dealers/vendors, and sales teams on business processes and documentation requirements
- Ensure deal files and systems are accurately documented so vendors are funded and customers are correctly set up and billed
- Influence dealer/vendor pipeline growth and manage pipeline and production forecasts
- Drive continuous process improvement
- Perform documentation, funding, and due diligence for standard or complex financed transactions
- Determine, review, and issue required legal transaction documents while ensuring all terms are met
- Negotiate documentation revisions and draft changes independently or with client counsel
- Identify document deficiencies for transactions bought from or sold to institutions
- Coordinate transaction closing schedules and direct workflow to meet client expectations
- Build relationships with clients, legal counsel, vendors, and internal partners
- Gather, review, and analyze transaction information from internal and external parties
- Resolve inquiries and issues and assist with audit exceptions
- Validate transaction structures against pricing models
- Ensure perfection of security interests or request approval for exceptions
- Manage customer needs and risks in alignment with PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years in the leasing industry
- Understanding of standard and non-standard documentation
- Understanding of equipment leasing and structured transactions
- Understanding of pricing/TValue
- Understanding of sales, use and property tax
- Understanding of PPSA laws and ability to interpret a PPSA search
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual French required
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Detailed orientation and attention to detail
- Team-oriented and able to accomplish goals
- Ability to proactively find solutions to issues and problems
- Ability to analyze and evaluate inconsistencies or trends
- University/college degree typically required, or comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- French speaking required
- Must not require employment visa sponsorship; PNC will not provide sponsorship or participate in STEM OPT
