About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Handle relationship management activities with new and existing clients in a book of business
  • Grow sales, revenue, and market share against relevant sales goals
  • Acquire, expand, and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet
  • Originate, financially analyze, negotiate, and document credit and non-credit products and services
  • Manage risk/return and quality for new and existing clients
  • Identify and mitigate regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks
  • Provide client ideas and insights based on client needs and financial well-being
  • Increase client engagement and loyalty
  • Build internal and external networks, including community and industry relationships
  • Acquire new clients and expand existing relationships
  • Present the full range of PNC products and services
  • Leverage reporting and sales tools to identify and convert sales opportunities
  • Analyze, evaluate, and mitigate credit risk under business direction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University/college degree typically required for roles at this level
  • 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience
  • Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Knowledge of credit fundamentals and internal credit policies
  • Ability to analyze, evaluate, and mitigate credit risk
  • Knowledge of book-of-business management, client relationship building, credit processes, credit products, customer engagement, decision making, financial analysis, and identifying sales opportunities
  • Competence in business acumen, client relationship management, customer experience management, critical thinking, effective communications, prospecting, selling, and technology
  • Must not require employment visa sponsorship; PNC will not provide sponsorship or participate in STEM OPT
  • Subject to Section 19 of the FDIA and, for registered roles, SAFE Act and/or FINRA requirements concerning certain criminal history
