About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing solutions
  • Lead development and review of test strategies and plans aligned with project goals, scope, tools, and testing approaches
  • Guide junior team members regarding testing needs
  • Identify and address resource and environment gaps
  • Escalate unresolved or recurring issues to Quality Engineer leadership
  • Monitor and manage testing risks and defects according to ECO standards
  • Prepare and deliver test summary reports and documentation for Technology leaders, Governance/Risk teams, and business stakeholders
  • Collaborate across teams and participate in Quality Engineer CoP meetings
  • Support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
  • Provide strategic direction for testing and serve as a subject matter expert

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Quality Engineer Lead with strong expertise in Python/JAVA and scalable, high-quality testing solutions
  • Ability to lead engineering teams, provide technical direction, and drive testing best practices
  • Skills in architectural decision-making and modern technologies and automation frameworks
  • Experience managing end-to-end project delivery and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to align technical solutions with business goals
  • Strategic direction for testing and subject matter expertise in quality engineering and supported business domains
  • University/college degree typically required for roles at this level
  • 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience
  • In lieu of a degree, comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience may be considered
