About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Influence the planning and execution of the technology risk management program and related communication strategies
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technology and associated risks using subject matter expertise and technology risk frameworks
- Build and manage relationships with technology leadership
- Monitor and communicate technology risk issues through appropriate management levels
- Lead coordination, implementation, and execution of technology risk management activities across technology segments
- Support regulatory expectations and organizational risk appetite
- Consult on implementation of risk program components
- Serve as an escalation point and senior subject matter expert in technology environments, risk, governance, and control frameworks
- Evaluate business self-assessments and advise on alignment with technology risk frameworks, standards, and control requirements
- Interpret security and threat intelligence to assess impact and inform mitigation strategies
- Develop risk analysis approaches, assess technology risks, identify trends, and support risk-informed decision-making
Requirements
What you’ll need- University / college degree typically required
- 5+ years of industry-relevant experience
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered
- Knowledge of technology environments, including infrastructure, data, information security, MIS, and governance
- Knowledge of technology risk frameworks
