About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the design of Navy networks
Development of network topologies and templates from system requirements
Development of network templates and IP plans
Development of test plans and documentation
Configuration and documentation of SDWAN solutions
Prepare, develop, and maintain Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts, packages, and deliverables to support system validation and authorization to operate (ATO)
Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas
Coordinate day-to-day cybersecurity operations with program technical leads to discover cyber risks, understand applicable policies, and develop mitigation plans
Maintain RMF documents for system baseline variants that have achieved ATO
Work independently, identify problems and devise analyses and solutions, communicate results to both technical and non-technical audiences, and lead the accomplishments of client tasks from inception to completion

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of six (6) years’ experience supporting the engineering of Information Technology systems for a DoD or Government Agency
3+ years of experience developing technical documentation
Proven track record of performance in client-facing roles that require engagement and relationship building with stakeholders across Navy programs, the DoD, or other federal agencies
Experience with SDN/ SD-WAN Technologies and vendors, including VMware, NSX-T, Cisco, Juniper, and open-source solutions
Experience with network configuration for L2/L3 switches, routers, security appliances (firewalls, NIDS, NIPS, etc)
Experience developing and documenting network topologies
Experience in troubleshooting and restoring network and system outages
Experience in virtualization technologies
CCNP (or equivalent) certification
