About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain CPM logic based, quantity-loaded project schedules used to manage workflow across the project life cycle in Primavera P6.
  • Attend and co-lead recurring internal and client project meetings to collect project status information, provide schedule updates, and support schedule coordination and planning changes.
  • Update project schedules on a weekly to bi-weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and integrity in schedule logic, activity sequencing, durations, and constraints.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external organizations to obtain and communicate project schedule information.
  • Support the development and maintenance of work breakdown structures (WBS) and activity coding frameworks aligned with project standards.
  • Develop and maintain schedule status reports, metrics, dashboards, and executive summaries used to evaluate and measure schedule, project and program performance.
  • Monitor progress against approved baselines and key project milestones to identify variances and support schedule revisions as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related quantitative or technical field required.
  • 5+ years of scheduling, project controls, or project engineering experience supporting project management functions on construction or capital improvement projects required.
  • Proficient in Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of CPM logic theory, quantity-loading, and schedule project development fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with project lifecycle phases and construction methodologies.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a larger team effort.
