About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide project controls support throughout all phases of the project lifecycle
Develop and maintain integrated cost and schedule controls
Support budgeting and forecasting activities
Perform project performance analyses and prepare reports
Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, contractors, and client stakeholders to monitor project performance
Identify risks and trends, support change management activities, and recommend corrective actions
Evaluate project progress and incorporate updates into forecasts and performance metrics
Prepare project controls reports, dashboards, executive summaries, performance metrics, and other deliverables for stakeholders
Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced project controls professionals as appropriate

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project controls, cost engineering, scheduling, cost management, or related project controls functions supporting engineering and construction projects.
Bachelor’s degree required in civil engineering, engineering, construction management, mathematics, data analytics, or a related technical or quantitative field.
A Master’s degree in a related technical or quantitative field may be considered as part of the candidate’s overall qualifications and relevant professional experience.
Experience developing and maintaining integrated cost and schedule baselines using Oracle Primavera P6.
Experience supporting project budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, schedule analysis, earned value management (EVM), and change management activities.
Experience supporting DOE, DoD, federal, national laboratory, or other large-scale capital projects is highly desirable.
Experience supporting engineering, infrastructure, energy, research, manufacturing, mission-critical, or other capital projects is preferred.
Proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6, project controls software, cost management systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, quantitative, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Professional certifications such as PMP, CCP, PSP, EVP, PE, or similar credentials are preferred.
