About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provides pediatric and adult mental health therapy as part of a large, multi-disciplinary behavioral health team.
Provide highest quality therapy services to patients.
Participate in clinical team meetings with Urgent Care and MH staff.
Maintains weekly scheduled therapy appointments.
Completes required documentation and paperwork including clinical assessments, treatment planning, and updating of patient medical records within 48 hours of patient visits.
Utilizes standardized tools (PHQ9, GAD7 etc.) to identify patients that can benefit from ongoing MH services and help families navigate treatment.
Able to make rapid assessments and follow through on recommendations in a timely manner.
Represents PM Mental Health in meetings with local providers, hospitals, and payers.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be independently licensed in state of practice.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Understanding the roles of the healthcare team.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Deep understanding the psychosocial aspects of illness and health.
Experience of community facilities and resources for discharge planning.
Superb written and verbal communication skills.
Strong crisis intervention skills.
Excellent short-term counseling skills.
