About the role
- Monitor and analyze new regulations, public consultations and regulatory changes issued by regulatory authorities (e.g., Central Bank).
- Assess regulatory impacts on the company’s products, operations and business models.
- Prepare technical opinions, regulatory memos and executive reports for leadership.
- Support the implementation of regulatory requirements, coordinating interfaces with Legal, Compliance, Product, Technology and Operations teams.
- Contribute to the development and updating of policies, procedures and internal controls related to the regulatory environment.
- Participate in strategic projects involving regulatory innovation, new business models or significant regulatory changes.
- Support internal and external audits and regulatory assessment processes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in regulatory affairs, regulatory compliance or relations with regulators.
- Experience in regulated environments, preferably in financial institutions, payment schemes, fintechs and/or benefits or payment services companies.
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting regulatory rules and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or Economics.
- Postgraduate degree or specialization in regulation, compliance or regulatory law – a plus.
- Advanced English – a plus.
- Familiarity with topics such as:
