About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions supporting customer and business objectives
Plan, develop, execute, and document manual and automated testing across functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and release-readiness activities
Maintain and expand reusable test suites, manage defects and test evidence, and verify traceability between requirements and results
Use JMeter, Postman, Selenium, and Playwright for test automation
Ensure accessibility using ANDI, Inspect DevTool, CCA, NVDA, and JAWS
Implement features and enhancements with limited supervision
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and technical issues
Collaborate with engineers, designers, business analysts, and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing efforts
Participate in Agile planning, estimation, sprint delivery, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
Communicate technical solutions, risks, and progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and other cross-functional team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a CMS Moderate Risk Public Trust clearance
Two or more years of software development experience
Experience building and maintaining software applications
Understanding of software engineering principles and development practices
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
