About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions supporting customer and business objectives
  • Plan, develop, execute, and document manual and automated testing across functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and release-readiness activities
  • Maintain and expand reusable test suites, manage defects and test evidence, and verify traceability between requirements and results
  • Use JMeter, Postman, Selenium, and Playwright for test automation
  • Ensure accessibility using ANDI, Inspect DevTool, CCA, NVDA, and JAWS
  • Implement features and enhancements with limited supervision
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and technical issues
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, business analysts, and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle
  • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing efforts
  • Participate in Agile planning, estimation, sprint delivery, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Communicate technical solutions, risks, and progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and other cross-functional team members

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a CMS Moderate Risk Public Trust clearance
  • Two or more years of software development experience
  • Experience building and maintaining software applications
  • Understanding of software engineering principles and development practices
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
