About the role

  • Manage Discord, build Twitter/X presence, and engage in relevant technical communities.
  • Turn research into blogs, threads, and videos, translating for different audiences.
  • Build email lists, create run a newsletter, optimize media channels.
  • Track metrics across channels, run experiments, and optimize for discoverability.
  • Create co-marketing materials and coordinate announcements with ecosystem partners.
  • Monitor ecosystem trends and feed positioning insights to leadership.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in marketing, growth, or community at tech companies.
  • AI, dev tools, infrastructure, or open source experience strongly preferred.
  • Deeply native understanding of Twitter, Discord, and emergent technical communities.
  • Comfortable with traditional channels: email marketing, SEO, basic video and multimedia production.
  • Technical comfort to engage with research papers and technical concepts.
  • Self-directed, owning outcomes and operating independently.
  • Bonus Points: AI/ML background, developer relations experience, owned community channels.
