Business Development Director – Industrial Sector

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Hunt and Conquer: Identify and pursue high-value target accounts, leveraging your deep industry knowledge and strategic selling expertise to build compelling value propositions.
- Build Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers at all levels, from C-suite executives to engineers, fostering long-term partnerships and customer loyalty.
- Lead with Innovation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, marketing) to develop and deliver innovative EMS solutions that address the unique challenges and opportunities within our target sectors.
- Drive Market Growth: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and new business opportunities within the European EMS market.
- Represent Plexus with Distinction: Act as a true ambassador for Plexus, showcasing our expertise in electronics manufacturing and our commitment to customer success.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven track record: Successful business development experience within the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry in Europe.
- Deep industry knowledge: A strong understanding of EMS processes, technologies, and market dynamics, specifically within the Industrial sector.
- Strategic mindset: Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Hunter mentality: A proactive and results-driven approach with a passion for exceeding targets.
- Relationship builder: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Collaborative spirit: A team player with a strong work ethic and a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the organization.
