About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in strategic meetings with clients and other firm teams;
Draft legal opinions;
Directly handle strategic lawsuits, including drafting the necessary pleadings;
Contribute to cases led by other professionals by helping define strategy, reviewing filings, and providing technical opinions;
Present oral arguments, conduct court case management conferences, and participate in hearings;
Develop and review legal theories and case positions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Law degree and active registration with the OAB (Brazilian Bar Association).
Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and PDF tools.
7 years of experience in contentious litigation.
Experience with real estate law disputes or corporate law disputes.
Postgraduate degree.
Experience with the Advwin case management system (a plus).
Master’s degree or PhD (a plus).
