About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead with risk - use our client Risk Assessment Platform and consultative approach to help sports organizations understand their exposure
  • Prospect, source, and develop new relationships with sports organizations, clubs, leagues, associations, and governing bodies
  • Maintain a strong, current understanding of the youth and amateur sports landscape
  • Build and manage a strong, active pipeline across target segments using our CRM/AMS (Applied Epic)
  • Own the full sales cycle: outreach, discovery, risk assessment presentation, proposal, negotiation, and close
  • Cross-sell and upsell across Players Health’s suite of insurance products and risk management services
  • Establish deep, trusted relationships with sports administrators and risk managers
  • Educate clients and prospects on insurance, risk management, and athlete safety
  • Maximize renewals and retention through consistent client engagement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of commercial insurance sales experience with a demonstrated track record of building and growing a book of business
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license, in good standing
  • Demonstrated success in a quota-carrying, high-activity sales role with clear, measurable results
  • Working knowledge of General Liability (GL) lines and commercial insurance products
  • Prior experience developing and executing a sales strategy to consistently meet or exceed targets
  • Proficiency with agency CRM/AMS (Applied Epic, preferred), or comparable sales and customer management platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal presence and negotiation ability
  • Demonstrated resilience and ability to adapt - comfortable in fast-paced, high-change environments
  • Demonstrated ability to follow process and procedures, and to identify where improvements should be made
  • Organizational discipline and strong attention to detail, including a genuine commitment to accurate and timely data entry
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity - motivated by contributing to solutions, not just working around problems
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
