About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead with risk - use our client Risk Assessment Platform and consultative approach to help sports organizations understand their exposure
- Prospect, source, and develop new relationships with sports organizations, clubs, leagues, associations, and governing bodies
- Maintain a strong, current understanding of the youth and amateur sports landscape
- Build and manage a strong, active pipeline across target segments using our CRM/AMS (Applied Epic)
- Own the full sales cycle: outreach, discovery, risk assessment presentation, proposal, negotiation, and close
- Cross-sell and upsell across Players Health’s suite of insurance products and risk management services
- Establish deep, trusted relationships with sports administrators and risk managers
- Educate clients and prospects on insurance, risk management, and athlete safety
- Maximize renewals and retention through consistent client engagement
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of commercial insurance sales experience with a demonstrated track record of building and growing a book of business
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license, in good standing
- Demonstrated success in a quota-carrying, high-activity sales role with clear, measurable results
- Working knowledge of General Liability (GL) lines and commercial insurance products
- Prior experience developing and executing a sales strategy to consistently meet or exceed targets
- Proficiency with agency CRM/AMS (Applied Epic, preferred), or comparable sales and customer management platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal presence and negotiation ability
- Demonstrated resilience and ability to adapt - comfortable in fast-paced, high-change environments
- Demonstrated ability to follow process and procedures, and to identify where improvements should be made
- Organizational discipline and strong attention to detail, including a genuine commitment to accurate and timely data entry
- Comfort operating in ambiguity - motivated by contributing to solutions, not just working around problems
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
