About the role

  • Define and execute product operation strategies to effectively communicate Plaud’s product and AI value to users — focusing on value-driven retention and growth rather than pure engagement metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, AI, and Marketing teams to design user journeys, messaging, and feedback loops that enhance product understanding and adoption.
  • Build and lead a product operations function — transforming insights, feature usage data, and user feedback into actionable product and growth strategies.
  • Drive go-to-market readiness and communication for major releases, ensuring consistent messaging around AI capabilities.
  • Establish key metrics and operational processes that connect product value with user impact, creating scalable playbooks for AI-driven product success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Product Management, Communication, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product operations, product growth, or PMM roles in internet or AI companies.
  • Prior experience in early-stage or fast-scaling startups where you built operational systems from scratch.
  • Experience working with AI/LLM or AIGC content products (e.g., chatbots, creative tools, or productivity assistants).
  • Previous exposure to hardware-integrated or multimodal AI products (voice, notes, wearable, etc.).
  • Ability to translate complex AI concepts into simple, compelling narratives for users.
  • Strong understanding of user lifecycle, retention metrics, and product value communication.
  • Strong data sensitivity and experience using analytics to drive operational decisions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across product, design, AI, and marketing teams.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
Benefits
  • Top-tier healthcare for employees and dependents, including dental and vision, and a generous employer subsidy.
  • 401(k) plan for full time employees with company matching.
  • Unlimited PTO, plus 13 paid holidays.
  • 12 weeks of paid time off to spend time with your new family, regardless of gender.
  • Minimum of 3x in office per week.
  • New hires are equipped with their choice of new top-of-the-line laptops and workstation setups.
  • Best office equipment. Annual offsites. Free office drinks and snacks.
