Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal-based applications for a government platform.
Provide subject matter expertise on Drupal capabilities and best practices.
Implement front-end components, ensuring accessibility, usability, and performance compliance.
Perform testing on local and dev environments to validate new features and bug fixes.
Follow Agile Scrum methodologies, participating in daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives.
Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX elements.
Document research, bug fixes, and new features for team knowledge-sharing and future reference.
Collaborate with development teams to refine user stories and acceptance criteria for seamless execution.
Partner with UX/UI designers to enhance user experience and accessibility.
Ensure alignment with business goals, regulatory compliance, and technical feasibility.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
Conduct business analysis by gathering, documenting, and validating requirements.
Perform gap analysis and propose solutions to meet business objectives.
Support testing efforts, define test cases, and validate implementation results.
Assist in change management, user training, and system documentation.
Stay informed on Drupal modules, APIs, and industry best practices.
Foster a collaborative Agile environment, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles.
Identify and remove impediments that impact team productivity.
Promote continuous improvement and Agile best practices across teams.
Support backlog refinement and prioritization efforts.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of six (6) years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on Drupal.
Experience with Agile methodologies and participation in Scrum ceremonies.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
Strong understanding of Drupal theming, module development, and customization.
Ability to work in a government environment requiring a Public Trust clearance.
