• Build the leadership, organizational, and management foundations that enable Plasmidsaurus to scale globally while remaining fast, accountable, and operationally excellent.

• Work on the web application where we deliver results to scientists. Ship features end to end, owning the full stack from planning to launch.

• Own the end-to-end product experience from ordering through sequencing results and raise the bar on every screen you touch.
• Establish a design system for our UI and data visualization. You will focus on the sequencing results experience where most of our value reaches the customer.
• Work with our engineers and bioinformaticians to turn complex workflows into intuitive software that makes the user think “*why did this not exist before*?”

Customer Support

• Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone in a timely and professional manner balancing urgency and quality in your responses.
• Provide expert technical support for our sequencing services, quickly interpreting scientific information communicated by customers, and identifying their needs and the best path to solutions for their requests
• Utilize internal systems with meticulous attention to detail to ensure rapid and precise inquiry resolution.
• Monitor sequencing process outputs and troubleshoot inconsistencies to ensure high-quality results.
• Identify and escalate complex issues to the appropriate departments, collaborating directly with our laboratory technicians, bioinformatics specialists, and software teams.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and support cases in our CRM system.
• Provide feedback to improve workflows, documentation, and overall customer experience.

Technical Support Specialist – Scientific

Human Resources

• Own Rippling end-to-end: payroll, benefits administration, onboarding/offboarding workflows, app provisioning, and automations
• Run multi-state and international payroll, including coordination with local providers and PEOs for global team members
• Keep us compliant across all US states — registrations, local leave laws, required postings, and reporting — and help manage compliance requirements for our international entities
• Support employee visa and immigration processes as the internal coordinator and employee-facing point of contact
• Administer benefits day-to-day and own open enrollment end-to-end
• Manage employment documentation across FTEs, contractors, and international workers
• Deliver a tight onboarding experience and own the full employee lifecycle in our systems

Platform Engineer

• Own core services that orchestrate lab devices (robots, sequencers, on-prem Linux servers) and the data ingestion pipeline
• Build cloud infrastructure and data pipelines to house, process, and deliver terabytes of sequencing data
• Design infrastructure to orchestrate millions of bioinformatics tasks (queues, workflow orchestration, scheduling)
• Build AI infrastructure and internal tooling to enable agentic systems:
• - Quality Scientist Agents - monitor operations end-to-end, surface anomalies, and intervene/escalate when quality or reliability issues appear
• - Logistics Agents - coordinate drivers around the world to move packages to labs and carriers
• - Bioinformatics Coding Agents - long-running agents for adaptive analysis of diverse sample types with unknown/shifting data distributions
