About the role
- As an AI Engineer (m/f/d) at Planted, you actively shape the future of our AI ESG Agent
- Your focus is on orchestrating, integrating and evaluating Large Language Models (LLMs) that help companies meet complex sustainability requirements
- Close collaboration with Product, Engineering and Sustainability teams
- Building and further developing LLM-powered features in our Impact OS
- Measuring and improving model quality, implementing testing and feedback loops
- Implementing retrieval-augmented generation setups and efficient data pipelines for ESG data
- Identifying new AI use cases and translating them into scalable solutions
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
- 3+ years in Machine Learning / AI Engineering, with a focus on LLM orchestration, integration and evaluation
- Strong knowledge of Python, NLP/LLMs (Transformers, embeddings), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and knowledge graphs
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure), MLOps stacks (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow) and databases (SQL, NoSQL, GraphDB)
- Strong in data-driven problem solving, model interpretation and performance optimization
- Nice-to-have: ESG/CSRD knowledge, experience in a SaaS or B2B environment, and integration experience with OpenAI/Anthropic/HuggingFace APIs
