About the role
- Serve as a subject matter expert and consultant within the Public Services Delivery Consulting Team
- Support clients across local, regional, and state-level agencies
- Collaborate with other consultants to serve and inspire public sector clients
- Advise clients on aligning operating strategy and revising business processes
- Conduct needs assessments and deliver actionable recommendations
- Design and implement performance measurement frameworks and dashboards
- Develop change management strategies promoting technology modernization initiatives
- Conduct cross-departmental research and data analysis
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions
- Lead and contribute to business development efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Architecture, Construction Management, Information Management, GIS, Business Administration, or related discipline of study required
- 6+ years of recent or current experience in positions similar to governmental performance management analysts, budget analysts, performance managers
- Strong interest in transforming governmental organizations
- Familiarity with key management systems involving land management/permitting, utility billing, enterprise asset management, service request/work order management, geographic information systems (GIS), and/or ERP systems
- Experience with developing relationships and interacting with government officials
- Demonstrated ability to integrate analytical thinking, collaborative team facilitation, and structured problem-solving
- Proven experience in evaluating and optimizing business processes
- Certifications in business process assessment and/or change management preferred
- Professional demeanor with superior oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as an integral team member
