About the role

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and consultant within the Public Services Delivery Consulting Team
  • Support clients across local, regional, and state-level agencies
  • Collaborate with other consultants to serve and inspire public sector clients
  • Advise clients on aligning operating strategy and revising business processes
  • Conduct needs assessments and deliver actionable recommendations
  • Design and implement performance measurement frameworks and dashboards
  • Develop change management strategies promoting technology modernization initiatives
  • Conduct cross-departmental research and data analysis
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions
  • Lead and contribute to business development efforts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Architecture, Construction Management, Information Management, GIS, Business Administration, or related discipline of study required
  • 6+ years of recent or current experience in positions similar to governmental performance management analysts, budget analysts, performance managers
  • Strong interest in transforming governmental organizations
  • Familiarity with key management systems involving land management/permitting, utility billing, enterprise asset management, service request/work order management, geographic information systems (GIS), and/or ERP systems
  • Experience with developing relationships and interacting with government officials
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate analytical thinking, collaborative team facilitation, and structured problem-solving
  • Proven experience in evaluating and optimizing business processes
  • Certifications in business process assessment and/or change management preferred
  • Professional demeanor with superior oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as an integral team member
