About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The purpose of this position is to advise business units on obtaining and presenting information so they can use it to assess and optimize their performance
  • Ensure data quality, integrity and availability for analytics
  • Work closely with subject-matter experts, business groups, data scientists and analysts to accurately define business requirements, integrate data sources and perform data discovery
  • Design data models across all global business functions
  • Develop, roll out and support BI solutions together with the business units, create new reporting concepts and assist in the evaluation and benchmarking of new BI tools
  • Contribute to the design and further development of operational, authorization and data-quality concepts for our data platform
  • Develop and maintain planning applications to support corporate strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed degree in one of the following fields: (Business) Computer Science, Data Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics or a comparable discipline, plus several years of relevant professional experience in Data and Analytics—ideally with a focus on SAP Business Warehouse or comparable technologies
  • Interest in modern data platforms and willingness to actively help shape the further development of our data analytics landscape
  • Knowledge of business processes and a broad overview of business functions
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Strong communication skills, initiative and the ability to work independently
