About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

managing the verification process for all healthcare professionals
reviewing applications for completion
verification of state licensure
collecting information contained in the national data banks
compiling all applicable security and credential documents
assembling qualification packages for review
managing timelines and processing
performing Primary Source Verification (PSV)
completing verifications following DHA directives
responding to inquiries from the customer’s Security and Credentialing Office
providing direct supervision to the support staff
implementing DHA policies and standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Five plus years of experience in medical credentialing including overall knowledge of the credentialing and privileging process
Two plus years of credentialing experience with the DoD
Must have ability to interface with all levels of military medical staff
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Skills with use of MS Office, i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Organization skills and ability to be detail-oriented and accurate in work produced
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or related field preferred
