About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- responsible for carrying out a full range of complex public health practice and research activities
- providing technical consultation and assistance to health agencies concerning health physics related projects
- plan projects to solve technical radiation exposure assessment problems
- conducting literature reviews and research on past methods to develop radiation dose estimation techniques
- conduct technical evaluations to assess the measured radiation exposure for individual and groups of workers
- perform scientific assessments and data analysis related to radiation exposures in the workplace and environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- MS in health physics
- at least 5 years focused work experience in health physics plus MS in industrial hygiene or nuclear engineering
- MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) proficiency
- Communication tools (Teams, SharePoint) experience
