About the role

  • Provide day-to-day leadership to support health center operations
  • Hire, coach, train, monitor, evaluate, and, if necessary, take corrective action with staff and volunteers
  • Serve as administrative supervisor for Clinicians and supervise unlicensed staff
  • Ensure a client-centered service model and promote responsive service delivery
  • Facilitate regular staff meetings for communication, training, and policy compliance
  • Provide ongoing feedback on productivity, patient care quality, customer service, and teamwork
  • Participate in annual budgeting and monitor revenue cycle goals
  • Financial management: monitor monthly financial statements, client visits, revenue, expenses, staffing, and daily reconciliation of deposits/logs
  • Oversee and ensure effective use of Electronic Health Records (EHR) and staff training
  • Implement staff schedules to optimize staffing levels and patient flow
  • Ensure accurate documentation and timely completion of daily/weekly/monthly reports
  • Oversee ordering and inventory accuracy for medical, contraceptive, and office supplies
  • Represent PPSAT in the community and create partnerships with community organizations
  • Coordinate with Security and Facilities to ensure a safe environment; conduct trainings and drills
  • Assist with coordination of research activities related to clinic procedures and oversight of recruiting/screening staff
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and applicable laws (including consent and ultrasound requirements)
  • Ensure lab and ultrasound staff are privileged and receive annual competency testing
  • Participate in Risk and Quality Management (RQM) and monitor compliance with HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, and state pharmacy regulations
  • Serve as Laboratory Manager under supervision of Laboratory Director and oversee laboratory quality control
  • Perform laboratory testing duties if trained (collect/prepare specimens, maintain instruments, draw blood, order/result tests)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Experience managing or working within a healthcare environment, especially women's health
  • B.A. in related field with 2-4 years of program management experience
  • Or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information
  • Experience with working in and managing a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Multi-tasker who is organized and provides attention to detail
  • Passionate about building and leading a strong Team
  • Ability to self-motivate, work independently, and function well as a team member
  • Experience working across a diverse service area
  • Background check required once a job offer is extended to the final candidate
