About the role
- Provide day-to-day leadership to support health center operations
- Hire, coach, train, monitor, evaluate, and, if necessary, take corrective action with staff and volunteers
- Serve as administrative supervisor for Clinicians and supervise unlicensed staff
- Ensure a client-centered service model and promote responsive service delivery
- Facilitate regular staff meetings for communication, training, and policy compliance
- Provide ongoing feedback on productivity, patient care quality, customer service, and teamwork
- Participate in annual budgeting and monitor revenue cycle goals
- Financial management: monitor monthly financial statements, client visits, revenue, expenses, staffing, and daily reconciliation of deposits/logs
- Oversee and ensure effective use of Electronic Health Records (EHR) and staff training
- Implement staff schedules to optimize staffing levels and patient flow
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely completion of daily/weekly/monthly reports
- Oversee ordering and inventory accuracy for medical, contraceptive, and office supplies
- Represent PPSAT in the community and create partnerships with community organizations
- Coordinate with Security and Facilities to ensure a safe environment; conduct trainings and drills
- Assist with coordination of research activities related to clinic procedures and oversight of recruiting/screening staff
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and applicable laws (including consent and ultrasound requirements)
- Ensure lab and ultrasound staff are privileged and receive annual competency testing
- Participate in Risk and Quality Management (RQM) and monitor compliance with HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, and state pharmacy regulations
- Serve as Laboratory Manager under supervision of Laboratory Director and oversee laboratory quality control
- Perform laboratory testing duties if trained (collect/prepare specimens, maintain instruments, draw blood, order/result tests)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Prior supervisory experience
- Experience managing or working within a healthcare environment, especially women's health
- B.A. in related field with 2-4 years of program management experience
- Or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Ability to handle highly confidential information
- Experience with working in and managing a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Multi-tasker who is organized and provides attention to detail
- Passionate about building and leading a strong Team
- Ability to self-motivate, work independently, and function well as a team member
- Experience working across a diverse service area
- Background check required once a job offer is extended to the final candidate
