About the role

  • Assists patients seeking sexual and reproductive health care by interviewing, screening, educating and preparing them for their appointment.
  • Provides medical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation in the clinic setting.
  • Facilitates clinic flow; ensures availability of patient care supplies; performs laboratory and screening procedures and participates in the implementation of patient care plans.
  • Responsible for front desk duties.

  • Demonstrates organization and time management skills to manage a variety of tasks effectively.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, staff and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner in person and over the phone.
  • Experience in electronic health records (EHR), electronic practice management (EPM) system, Office 365, and Microsoft Office Products preferred.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and implement written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
  • Some positions require bilingual English/Spanish skills.
  • CPR certifiable.
