About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Under the supervision of the Director, Education and Training, launch and support initiatives related to education and training.
- Support the development and implementation of special projects and initiatives for the Education and Training division.
- Conduct quality improvement projects related to lesson plans and develop educational programs.
- Oversee Education and Training interns and manage special projects.
- Analyze data and maintain community mapping projects to ensure health equity.
- Collaborate on equity framework for outreach and training activities.
- Increase capacity for Spanish program delivery and develop sex education programming for diverse audiences.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in health education, psychology, social work, counseling, or a related area.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in education/community outreach or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in curriculum design.
- Experience in program evaluation.
- Experience in facilitating youth programs.
- Understanding of and commitment to providing programs utilizing an equity and reproductive justice lens.
- Excellent public speaking, writing, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively with diverse groups of teens, staff and volunteers.
